Since 1989, Sun Valley Animal Hospital's goal has been to provide Monroe residents with high quality veterinary care for dogs and cats in a professional, empathetic, compassionate, and friendly atmosphere.

For over 30 years, Sun Valley Animal Hospital has provided individualized veterinary care with an array of services including vaccinations, preventative and wellness care, care of the sick and injured pet, hospitalized care, radiology, spay and neuter surgeries and non-elective surgeries, weight and nutritional management and counseling, behavioral counseling, microchipping, and on-site pharmacy.

Our Thanks to Dr. David Hudson

Dr. David Hudson earned his DVM degree from NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. After practicing mixed animal medicine for a couple years in Monroe, NC he then decided to open Sun Valley Animal Hospital in 1990. Dr. Hudson retired from Sun Valley Animal in September of 2020 and now enjoys his free time out on the water, fishing and quality time with his family.
